This work is part of Currency Exchange, a group exhibition and a continuation of the inquiry-based residency hosted by Design Inquiry. Portal Plates invite the public to explore and assemble their notion of a portal, as a way to rethink space, time, material and context. Emerging from the moment. A safe space for imagination.

A portal is a pathway to a shift, a shift in point of view, in timeline, in narrative, an experience that leads our attention to shift. These handmade prints on porcelain embody the physical description of a design process, the line as a continuum, leading, testing, writing, drifting.
